  • Spain Abroad - Served as Interim Director of Admissions and Business Development as I partnered with leadership to pivot brand and message to optimize enrollment opportunities and referrer sources.

  • Homeward Bound - Provided an organizational audit, market analysis, and strategic plan for this home-based coaching program.

Altior Healthcare’s services comprise of four distinct mental health treatment programs: Paradigm Treatment, Innercept, The Ridge, and Ironwood of Maine. With 14 unique locations, they serve more than 100 residential clients (between the ages of 12-28) daily, located across five states: California, Idaho, Maine, New Hampshire, and Texas.​​

  • Communicated the mission and vision of Altior Healthcare programs to the larger referring public.

  • Provided networking and outreach with Therapeutic Educational Consultants (ECs), staying in constant communication with all ECs to help them develop strong relationships with individual Altior programs.

  • Worked creatively and collaboratively to provide appropriate services to address the current and future needs of behavioral healthcare, in response to the needs of clients and referring professionals.

  • Collaborated with the leadership team to develop a synergistic strategic outreach plan for Altior Healthcare.

  • Coordinated activities that place Altior Healthcare programs as “thought leaders in the behavioral health world.” Developed workshops, panels, and other opportunities to educate professional referrers.

Pure Life Adventure     

       

Pure Life Adventure is an adventure therapy program based in Costa Rica. Pure Life provides a therapeutically sophisticated and holistic approach to helping young adults with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, lack of motivation, executive function deficits, trauma, and substance abuse.

  • Developed, with Pure Life Staff, clear and concise vision, mission, and values of Pure Life to be used both in daily operations and in branding of program.

  • Actively engaged in all Pure Life Leadership Team activities.

  • Managed, in partnership with Leadership Team, the process for AEE Accreditation.

  • Participated in (from vision to inception) the creation of a Pure Life Adolescent Program. Key leader in the development in this program.

SavingTeens in Crisis Collaborative

SavingTeens is a philanthropic organization dedicated to assisting troubled teens and their families struggling with significant emotional and behavioral challenges including anxiety, depression, addictions and other risky behaviors. Working in close collaboration with the therapeutic community, SavingTeens provides financial and other support to families of teens in crisis.

  • Develop and articulate the vision and principles that define the organization’s goals for volunteers, programs and educational consultants, and families.

  • Steward relationships with current and potential funders and supporters - private, corporate, family foundations, and federal/state grant-making agencies; monitor and ensure compliance with all funding and grant requirements.  Draft an Annual Report to disseminate to donors.

  • Manage all SavingTeens events in partnership with Event Chairs, Board Members, and volunteers.

  • Develop principles and guidelines for SavingTeens Board, committees, and volunteers.

  • Create and sustain collaborative relationships amongst therapeutic programs and educational consultants.

Steps to Success

 

Director of Steps to Success      

Director of the Steps to Success Program, a private / public partnership of the Brookline Public Schools (PSB). STS is an academic support and college preparatory program for the students who reside in Brookline public housing.

  • In collaboration with STS Board and all stakeholders, created Steps to Success annual goals – for the public, staff members, students and families, community partners, and funding sources.

  • Collaborated with stakeholders including students, families, PSB personnel, Brookline Housing Authority, Brookline Community Foundation and other partners.

  • Carried out all responsibilities of a PSB Coordinator including, budget oversight, supervising/evaluating staff, and collaborating with principals and system-level administrators.

  • Ensured that new and on-going programs for students and families were in line with the goals and vision of STS and the PSB Strategic Plan.  Developed new programming in response to the Steps to Success and Brookline Public School communities.

  • Ensured continuous improvement by measuring and evaluating program effectiveness in collaboration with the Director of Data Management and Evaluation.

  • Oversaw recruiting, hiring and retention of staff and individual contractors.

Coordinated all high school and higher education programming for Steps to Success.  Additionally, coordinated the Community Development Block Grant Youth Employment Program which provides employment opportunities to low-income Brookline Youth.

  • Advised and mentored 135 Brookline High School students who reside in Brookline public housing.

  • Developed and coordinated a comprehensive four-year college preparatory curriculum.

  • Acted as liaison between school staff, support agencies, and participant’s families.

  • Supported families in their communication with teachers and administrators.

  • Employed and supervised 30 Brookline young people in summer and school-year jobs.

The STEP (School Training and Education Preparation) Program, is a high school based college preparatory program for high school seniors who will be the first in their family to attend college.

  • Supported 100 Brockton High School Seniors in college preparatory activities.

  • Developed and coordinated a year long college preparation curriculum.

  • Managed staff of six program advisors.

  • Acted as liaison between MY TURN staff and Brockton High School administration and personnel.

MA HIV Prevention Planning Group Coordinator      

Massachusetts Department of Public Health

 

The Massachusetts HIV Prevention Planning Group (MPPG) is a statewide community planning group for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The MPPG is a membership body with representatives from impacted populations, consumers, and content experts in the areas of communicable disease, prevention, care and treatment. The MPPG advises the Office of HIV/AIDS on populations, prevention services, and policies that impact the reach and delivery of these services.

  • Managed a state-wide planning board that coordinated all Department of Public Health HIV / AIDS Prevention Programming.

  • Coordinated and wrote the annual state prevention grant from the CDC which resulted in $13,000,000 of HIV prevention funds being funneled into Massachusetts.

  • Managed the request for proposal, staff and budget for four MPPG funded research grants.

  • Presented at National CDC HIV Prevention Conference.

  • Coordinated all communication to MPPG members and facilitated monthly state-wide meetings and smaller planning meetings.

Youth STAR Americorp Coordinator 

ROCA Inc.

ROCA Inc.’s mission is to help disengaged and disenfranchised young people move out of violence and poverty.  ROCA’s youth empowerment experience has led to the  development and implementation of an evidence-based intervention model for high-risk young people ages 17-24.

  • Supervised and Managed a corps of 30 at-risk young people in a full-time, year-long service project.

  • Developed health curriculum in partnership with the development and inception of ROCA’s Teen Health Clinic.

  • Created teen pregnancy and HIV prevention curriculum for Chelsea and Revere adolescents.
